Napster allows you to share music with other people connected to the Napster service. Averages about 1.5 million songs and 11000 people at a time. Best used for old or hard to find songs. When using Napster do not download MP3's any less than 128bit and don't touch anyone with a 14.4 or 28.8k modem. Expect a transfer rate of about 5.0k a second with a 56k modem. Provide the computer that you are downloading from isn't itself trying to download several songs. Select View Information before downloading to check. If you can't find the song that you want, try again later, new people are joining all the time. Click the link below to go to the Napster home page to download the Napster software.
